chuck-eeeeeeeee

today we ventured off again with the barrett girls...

we were scheduled to go to disneyland again but opted not to since we were unsure of the rain (yet it turns out we could've gone)...
anyways, so we headed to the local chuck-e-cheese (and even took along a lil bear)...
they all had soo much fun!

peyton ate the most pizza. tay ate 1, sabrina ate 1 and peyton ate 2!!! what a piggy! oh and bears don't eat pizza. haha!

bear just liked that he could throw the ball and it would roll back to him so he could, of course, throw it again and repeat.
no one even cared that sabrina climbed up to throw the balls in...too bad she just kept throwing them into the ball receiver-just look at her score

jino's new job really knows how to welcome me and the girls to the family

a couple weeks ago they sent me these:

jino's new job IS truly a blessing...
although he works long hours now i know it'll pay off in the end...
the commute is shorter, the pay is higher, the title is bigger...
i'm truly blessed to have a hubby that works hard to provide for our family!
we are proud of him!

ENCORE DANCE CENTRE

so today taylor and her good friend sophia started their 1st day at their new dance studio!

i am soooo excited for her to be in this studio and it's worth the drive...
i love that they focus on the dancer and teaching them technique...
and not trying to get them to compete...
that's why this studio is different!
and they get to do a show at the end of each dance season-not a lil recital but an actual show/production! and they don't have super expensive costumes either! =)
and what's most important...taylor likes it!

park day with the bear

today was an absolutely perfect day for the park!!!

i love that it was almost 80 degrees in the beginning of january!

tay and her scooter uncle jojo gave her for christmas...wearing a skirt i made her from leftover fabric from auntie kris
peyton and her silly, loud toy that she (and all the other kids in the park) loves that lolo/lola got her in chinatown
this was really peyton's first time she really got to play at the park...cause i'd take her before but she couldn't walk so she would usually stay and play with the sand and sand toys but now she can walk all over and play on the slides and stuff...

finally got around to making my sister the other half of her christmas present...a new, sturdy clutch to match the key chain i made her

and i can't believe i made a ton of these to give out for christmas and i forgot to take pics of them all before i gave them out!!!
and i had time to finish up an order for a friend...although my etsy shop is still closed i still get requests from friends...
i absolutely love any butler's lotus line for fabric!!!
