cliffrose...

i never updated about the house we put a bid on. cliffrose was the street. so the bank did it's appraisal. and of course priced it higher than what we bid. but yet it was still very low for that area. so we could've easily counter offered but we didn't. we decided to put things on hold till after the holidays. there were also other bids on the place. if no offer gets accepted on the short sale...then it goes into forclosure...which we are hoping for. then we'd have more bargaining power. so whether it's cliffrose or not..only God knows. and our house will come in God's time. the holiday season is just about over...and we will soon be house hunting again.

merry christmas weekend

oh sooo many Christmas parties!!! taylor enjoyed every single party. it's so fun with taylor being almost 2...and she's so fun, active, energetic, excited, and she understands sooo much and talks so much. she knows what Christmas is...that it's Jesus' birthday (yet when you ask her she keeps saying it's "Christmas's" birthday and we have to keep telling her it's Jesus'). she knows christmas songs this year and sings them all the time. she knows what the Christmas tree is and that there are presents under it. oh man, the list goes on!!!it's sooo much more enjoyable this year. there have been many Christmas parties this whole weekend and she's received lots of presents....and it's sooo fun watching her rip apart the wrapping paper!

friday was the CFBC chino hills christmas party but i forgot to take pics. taylor had fun and kept calling all the kids her "cousins."
party dad's side-saturday before christmas

taylor loved this robe she got from the manalili's and wouldn't take it off...the dora doll from the castro's was her 2nds favorite
christmas eve dinner.

books...if you give a mouse a cookie and where the wild things are from uncle jp
the table and chairs (that stay at their house) from lola and lolo

christmas eve party-my mom's side
we also had our annual christmas eve party with my mom's side of the family. we stayed till midnight till we got our presents. and to pass time the cousins all played rockband. i didn't take any pics. was too tired.

christmas day.
waking up to open presents...
taylor's finished dora vanity from grandma and grandma
silly princess outfit (from auntie katie) + mouthful of bread + dora slippers= priceless
playing with her toy kitchen from santa (aka mama & papa)
lola & lolo's house christmas day-mom's side party
opening one of her presents which was a dora towel
one of the only pics we took together that nightpulling her lil mini radioflyer wagon and bears that she got

that was our fun-filled, very tiring christmas weekend. lots of memories created this past weekend. lot of fun, presents, time with family...but let's not forget the reason for it all...the birth of Jesus! without him all these memories wouldn't have been possible.

new things part 2...

i finally figured out how to make pajama's. i just figured it out today. i used a pair of my pajamas as my pattern. and voila! wow, they were so easy to make. i thought i'd never figure those out. now i wish i figured it out earlier so i could've made more for christmas presents.

my 1st pair of pajama's for a christmas present
flannel pj's...i made it a drawstring waist instead of elastic...just to make sure they fit the person they are going to. haha.

i bought scrap flannel to make taylor some pj's...will post pics when those are done.

here's taylor 3/4 sleeve fleece jacket with its button and loop.

top ramen

so... i just finished making taylor and i some yummy, hot top ramen for lunch today (to go with taylor's peanut butter and jelly goober pandesal sandwich)...she was standing on the stool watching me cook (boil) the noodles. she says...

i want some noodles. i want some in my mouth.

wow!!! that was 10 words. she continually amazes with me with how much she talks. and she talks soooo much!!!! and she copies plenty of things we say. haha. so we have to be careful with what we say. :)

new things...

I've been experimenting more...thanks to free tutorials online, things I see online and on ETSY and the Sew Mama Sew blog, and my Bend the Rules of Sewing book (thanks again Krissa). I've made about 95% of the Christmas presents this year. Here's a few of the new things I've made. I really do thank God for my new love of sewing. It seems I sew more than I run now (that needs to change). These are some gifts for people. I need to post them in my shop too!

craft fair

the craft fair i had been long anticipating had finally come. man, i'm such a nervous wreck at these things. well, at least right before. i couldn't eat. i was anxious and nervous. hehe. kt helped me set up in the morning and later papa and taylor came. it was a good turn out of vendors. the coordinator did a great job at getting vendors...many who were from etsy...and many who also happened to be experienced craft show vendors. but to our dismay...the turn out of customers wasn't so great. i guess she didn't advertise as well as we were all hoping for. it was a big dis appointment in sales to us all. i think it had plenty to do with the location of the craft fair. it was in the main outdoor hall of the high school...and i think it should've been out in fron in the parking lot so that passing cars and people could see. oh well, it was that coordinator's first craft show that she set up. next craft fair i do...i'm doing my research and making sure it's in a good location. i came out with under $100. but praise God for that! :)

ready for loading
my cheesy set up
my booth was right next to my friend's so our kid's got to play together....
taylor and jeremy were more entertaining to watch
being cute
he shared cookies with her

i can't wait to do the next one. i will definitely work on my booth and make it have a more professional set up like the other vendors. should be fun!!!!
