the day was sooo packed...i even missed 2 birthday parties...i ended up not be able to make then the other papa took the girls to!
we went with taylor's preschool to pretend city in irvine! it's like a BIG playhouse for kids! phia, tay and lily some of the kids from the entire preschool, there are kids missing and 2 teachers... the community room-where you eat can't forget lil peyton here we go... each kid gets a timecard then you go thru the city and there are some jobs to do and once u are done u get a stamp on your timecard...you can even go to the pretend atm-get money and get something with it. there's lotsa pics but toooo many to post!
as requested by friends and family i have opened up etsy shop again to feature the smocked dresses i've been making the girls. they aren't the greatest pics but who cares-the shop is open!
the forecast called for rain for the next few days but it decided to take a break today.
and as usual the girls needed new dresses-and i made them smock dresses AGAIN!!! and one for the birthday girl (and a skirt and top to too!) so... happy birthday to taylor's really good friend-sophia who turned 5! the b-day diva and taylor
made some goodies all courtesy of bakerella chocolate chip cookie brownies an array of cheesecake bites -i made over 90 bites- milk and white chocolate-with and without sprinkles and no chocolate the favors/giveaways red velvet cupcake pops (bakerella too) the decor (and food) which consisted of pom pom flowers, lanterns, and birthday banner bunting and food which had a kid's corner of nachos, chili and hot dogs, fried chicken, all sorts of salads and pastas and even some filipino food and who could not forget the yummy tito's sandwiches?!
aww tay and phia with their old dancing bud-lily face painting! this girl was awesome and a good price too! lots of outside play time awww i love both of these pics pinata! taylor was on a mission to only get the chocolate cause that's all she likes super yummy cake from dragon bakery, hacienda heights opening presents thank you's from shawna and rick and then in walks sophia wearing the lil mermaid costume someone just gave her-haha
we met up once again with the barrett girls and we stood in a really long line to meet 2 princesses-hah!
but phew! we survived a few hours at disney with the barrett girls-after fighting an hour of traffic to get there, then once pushing the strolling realizing my front tire was popped-so i ended up strollerless (but was able to rotate the girls-thanks geneyem for sharing your stroller-cause i wasn't about to pay $15 to rent one for 3 hrs) and who told everyone to go to d-land today and not to mention 4 whiney lil girls-haha?! it was soo crowded! with thatsaid, we did manage some fun and yes i would do it again!
i love that it was (practically) 80 degrees today and it's february! it made for a perfect day to be out at the park for some lovely festivities...
but of course one must have a new outfit first...and the 80 degree weather called for new smocked sundresses (that i posted in the previous post)!!! first for a baby shower then off to luke bermejo's 1st bday party the girls with the birthday boy who is sooooo cute! pretty cake sing...happy birthday to you!
