family fun

aside from the usual weekend of packing and moving things...we had a family birthday party to go to....it was a hawaiian themed surprise 50th for uncle bryan!

park day!

i haven't taken taylor to the park as consistently as when i was part of the mom's club...so lately we'd go at night when papi was home and it was much cooler. but today was a rare treat. we met up with sabrina, elijah and key at the park. we brought our lunches, picnicked and played!

private lessons?!

so this past tuesday was taylor's tap class as usual. her class keeps getting smaller and smaller. i think it has to do with it being a small studio. anyways, it was the last class for this month and i'm not going to continue on at 1na Dance studio...i think we are going to try out All That Dance in Chino Hills which is right next to our future home. well, taylor was the only one that showed up to class on tuesday...pretty sad. but it did allow her to focus more and the teacher was very suprised at what she was capable of. oh well, that was the last of that class...on to intro to ballet and tap at the new studio!

oh..the silly glare is cause the pics are taken from outside through the window since mom's aren't allowed to be inside during class-so as to not distract them...

pump it up

celebrated a fun birthday this weekend at pump it up.

happy 1st birthday a.j.!!!
taylor had so much fun jumping, sliding, climbing and bouncing in all the inflatables...
until she decided to climb the stairs by herself to the slide and slide down by herself...
we were actually so proud of her cause she did it all by herself...
but then she put her hands down as she slid and went tumbling down...
then, she decided she was a fraidy cat again.
it was sooo much fun,
play room after playroom...then snack room then play room again then dinner and birthday cake.
too bad my prego belly didn't allow me any jumping fun. here's the whole gang...
she was so pooped that she immediately fell asleep as soon as we got in the car.

no more sunshine

sometimes when taylor is sitting in her carseat the sun gets in her face and she hates it. we tried putting a shade but she would pull it off every time so we gave up on it. we've told her to turn away or just cover her eyes. so today when we were driving we looked back and saw her with her hat over her face. we thought she was sleeping...

as we kept driving we realized she had pulled the hat down over her face to block the sun that kept shining in her face. we started laughing hysterically. she's so silly. she found good use for her hat.

today we got to hang out with auntie geneyem and sabrina. it's been a while. taylor was excited. she forgets that sabrina is a baby and was treating her like a 2 year old. she was also acting like she was her mama. haha. we walked around the shoppes and chatted a bit and had an early lunch at panera. yum! till next time!

she's been in this class for almost 3 months but it might be time to move on at the end of the month...i just might be switching her to another dance studio...a bigger, better one, not too much more in chino hills.

just another day at the doctor's

today was my appointment with specialist dr. devore in pasadena. it was our 2nd time there and we've decided that each time i have an appointment there, jino would take the day off so we can all go as a family and spend the day out there.

we got an early appt. this time and once again we snuck taylor in with us. they prefer no children come to the appointments but so far no one has said anything to us. hehe. we absolutely love this doctor, his office and the staff. it's such a warm, welcoming feeling. next time i need to take a pic of the doctor cause he always wears silly short sleeve button downs with a bowtie. and he also has the latest high tech equipment. we get a 3D ultrasound each time for free and i get to wear cool, special goggles to view the ultrasound while taylor and papi watch it on the tv. the appointment went well. peyton is healthy. heart-rate is normal. she's doing fine! she moves a lot too!

we dropped taylor off for date night last thursday at lola's house, this was the conversation in the car as we were headed back home...

papi: did you have fun at lola's house?
taylor: yes, i didn't cry.
papi: good, cause you're not a baby
taylor: (breaks out into a loud, fake cry like a baby)

this weekend was super busy. we had 2 birthday parties on saturday and then taylor's vbs graduation on sunday.
