JUST CHEER class
then we came home, cooked dinner and ate it then off to her TAHITIAN/HULA dance class

tuesdays
were supposed to be for bowling thru the city of diamond bar @ oak tree lanes-which we went to this tuesday but we are switching to the wed bowling class instead cause the teacher said there are a lot more kids in that class

taylor bowled a 71! way better than me!

wednesdays
will now be for bowling thru the city of chino of hills @ oak tree lanes
only taylor poses like this
lolo's moment

and at night our church has a kids program-for the summer they'll be doing a summer long vbs program only on wed. nights...so she has that when we do go to it

GUMMI BEARS

today was taylor's 1st show at her new dance studio ENCORE that she's been with since the new year. i love this studio and couldn't be happier. she's learning so much technique compared to her last studio. the studio had one theme for the show which are dances based on tv shows. taylor's class did a tap routine to the old cartoon Gummi Bears. i remember watching this cartoon when i was little cause it was one of my favorites but it's funny cause not a lot of people remember it.

saturday dress rehersal

soo thankful they little ones didn't have to stay the whole day for dress rehearsal. they just had to rehearse their routine twice in costume and that was it.
they all kept wiping their faces and noses cause the darn paws kept shedding

sunday show day!!!

wearing their t-shirts and denim for the opening routine with the entire EDC cast
tay and phia showing off their flower grams
time to go on stage
she's an orange Gummi Bear

good job girls!!!

my hula girl

taylor started a tahitian dance class today. she loved it! then again, this girl loves anything that has to do with performing (dancing & singing)!!!

gotta keep her busy. no summer school and no summer mommy & me school. although she still has her dance classes at the studio. her show is actually this sunday!!! yay! they are doing a tap routine to gummy bears.

anyhow so for the summer she will be taking the tahitian dance class for, then adding on a cheer class next week and pee wee baseball for sure in july and possibly karate

and also looking into piano lessons-but this would be ongoing and not just a summer thing like the rest of the stuff. hehe. so fun!!! and poor peyton i need to put her in something! =)

here's some pics from the class
they learned the beginning basics to hula and some tahitian dance

father's day weekend

friday
it's father's day weekend and to start off this lovely friday night we took my dad out to eat out at spaghetti eddie's. i've heard people mention this place before and i checked yelp and it got great reviews so i was excited to try it. but i was sadly disappointed. the food was just okay. the only thing i really like was the calamari. and dining with kids is always a challenge too! anyways, that wasn't the focus of the night. it was to celebrate my dad as a father. and i love when my side of the family all gets together at once cause it doesn't happen that often when we can all get together. but i am thankful and thankful for my dad. happy father's day dad! we love you!

saturday

it was a perfect day to go to the beach and once again celebrate father's day early but this time for papa. we gave him and early present in case he wanted to use it today. it was surf racks for the car he'd been wanting! anyways, it was gorgeous out. i was stoked that the sun was out early at the beach and that the temp said 70. we met up with the mason's and rob/christy/asher luna. we soaked up the sun, the kids played in the sand-even asher did, the boys surfed and even katie and christy went in after not havin done so in a long time. oh and the kids even gave it a try. we bbq'd our awesome yummo lunch of tasty hotlinks and hot dogs for the kiddos
surf racks he's been wanting
papa & rob headin out
peyton likes the water now too!!!
awwww
she sooo hearts this lion
bear was crying soooo hard cause he didn't wanna share his "surfboard" boogie board with his cousins!
katie and christy got on their boards
fail.
tay's turn
bear's turn
peyton didn't want a turn but got one anyways
papa played

then the girls presented papa with the gifts they made him

she DOES in fact LOVE the sand!

i'm soooo proud of peyton!!!
she finally got over her fear of the sand.
she's sooo silly.
this crazy little monkey who climbs, explores and jumps off of everything and anything, the risk taker and dare-devil...
used to be so scared of the sand touching her feet.
the sand of all things?!
i do recall taylor going through a short phase like that.
i'm so glad it's over.
i guess going to the beach every week had to have helped!
today she actually walked in it and sat in it and played in it and with it!
whoo-hoo!!!

super proud of her. i was totally shocked to see her walking in the sand! =)
bear threw sand at peyton with his shovel because she stepped inside his bucket filled with dirt and water and he wanted to get it
he finally got his turn
she really does like it
