I just wanted to say how thankful I am for God's goodness. He seems to always take care of our family and bless us beyond what we'd ever deserve...and we don't even deserve it. He's really watching over us. He must be really trying to get our attention too! I stand in awe of His goodness!!! Thank you Lord!!!

i actually took my sewing machine out the box that was sitting in the garage.

haven't sewed in forever.
why is it that everytime i sew i make a big mess?! haha.just sewed some fabric on burp rags for a present!

today we finally got to go back to mommy and me school and what better day to return.
we met the class for a field trip to the fire station.

and after we gathered at graziano's so the kids could make their very own personal pizza's!

date night
thursday's also mean date nights for us.
so thankful that we have babysitters to watch our girls (thanks kris and mom)!
tonight we stuffed our faces with chilli cheese fries at The Hat
then we were we craving crepes for dessert and headed off to Crepes de Paris.

not once but twice

taylor was going poop in her potty but i was feeding peyton and papa was busy too which meant no one was free to wipe her. so i told her she was gonna have to wipe herself or wait for someone...

taylor: mama, i'm done!
me: did you wipe yourself?
taylor: ya, i did!
me: did you wipe twice?
taylor: ya i did....(pauses)...what's twice?

jino and i started cracking up.

2 MONTHS!

HAPPY 2 MONTH BIRTHDAY PEYTON ELIZABETH!!!

T is for...

TAYLOR!

she also discovered she can draw an airplane!

we were going over abc's and 1-2-3's...
she can sing the abc's and can recognize almost all of them and surprisingly she knows the sounds they make too! she can recognize her #'s 1-10. hehe. i sure can't take all the credit. i'd like to thank her leap frog toys that say the letter and sound and sesame street and dora and disney and pbs! hah! can't wait for preschool that we hope to have her start in march.

Finally!

we finally made our way to Sprinkles today!!!
we've been able to taste their yummy cupcakes many times from both my sister-n-laws...
but we never made the trip on our own.
today was a perfect day...
the weather was warm and papa is still home.
so we ventured out to newport with the girls after taylor's dance class.

my sister and i had a fun playdate with some really good, old friends. we grew up with them at our old church and now we are all grown up with kids of our own!

I'm excited to say that Peyton's not even 2 months yet and she CAN SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT! so far, it has been 3 nights in a row! her last feeding has been at about 9pm-ish and she doesn't wake up till about 5am-ish! yay praise God! and thanks Babywise for teaching me!

she's getting so big!

growing up

peyton's getting big fast...she's already 7 weeks old. she can almost sleep through the night. she sleeps at the most 6 hours straight through (thanks to babywise). the goal is that she is able to by 2 months! she is very alert and attentive. she can see lots of things and follow you with her eyes. she rarely ever cries, it's usually just a whimper. she's soo different from taylor. hehe.

as for taylor...she'll be 3 in march and that's coming up fast. she still adjusting to having a baby sister. she's jealous but who can blame her...she was the only one for almost 3 years and used to get all the attention. i know she does love her sister and means well even though she might squeeze her a little too hard. hehe. let's see...she knows her abc's. she can recognize almost all of them. she knows all her colors. she can count to 16 but always leaves out 15 for some reason. she sings constantly. she remembers and recalls sooo much. we say she may be 2 but has the mind of a 7 year old. haha. she likes to pick out her own clothes to wear. she "thinks" she can wipe her own poopy butt on the potty-but i dare not let her yet. ew. she loves to help cook and may also be just as anal as me, if not more about cleanliness. she's very particular about things especially the way her bed is made. she currently loves high school musical and hannah montana. she still takes tap and ballet too! she's also a little too sassy but what 2 year isn't?! hah. and she absolutely loves any chance to play with other kids.
