i was dying my hair as i do every 3 weeks due to the inherited white hairs of my mother and taylor was watching.

nothing new

i haven't sewed in awhile....the only thing i have sewed lately are orders here and there that i get. but i haven't made taylor a new skirt or dress or anything for myself. i haven't just sat at the sewing machine and experimented and got creative. i guess i've been uninspired and unmotivated. or maybe it's this pregnancy?! maybe that's it. maybe once this 1st trimester is over i'll get back into it!

i'm showing already. monday i'll be 8 weeks. i feel huge. i feel like i'm 9 months already. haha. i guess it's really true that you start to show a whole lot faster with the 2nd pregnancy. this pregnancy is definitely a whole lot different from my first. i'm more tired and i actually have morning sickness. i feel nauseous, quezzy and dizzy throughout the day. a friend of mine described it as the car sick feeling. i also get indigestion. i have to eat in small portions or i'll feel sick. oh goodness...this better be a boy (really...just a healthy baby is good)! only 7 more months.

san diego

so last night we dropped off taylor at lola and lolo's house to sleepover while we went on a mini get-a-way to san diego to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary. this was taylor's first time sleeping over somewhere without us. and this was also going to be my first night without taylor. papa's been away from her when he's been out on business. but not me! we headed to sd...kinda pressed for time. we had to check in to our hotel and try to make 1 of the 2 reservations we made. we made 2 just cause we weren't sure what time we'd get to sd. 1 was to red pearl kitchen and the other to rama which our friend anne's friend recommended. we opted to go to rama since we've been to red pearl in hb. we were actually 15 min. late to our rama reservations but they took us anyways. this place was amazing! the ambiance and food were amazing!!!! stayed at awesome marriot in gas lamp in the concierge floor. next day went walk around and shop at the gas lamp and horton plaza. no pics though. then couldn't wait to get home to taylor.

on monday she woke up at 630 a.m. i was off cleaning and she decided she wanted to play on my mountain of laundry that needed to be folded. i kept checking back to see what she was doing. then one time i came back only to find her knocked out on the pile of laundry.

April Showers...

...bring May flowers!!!!Today my mom and I threw a baby shower for my sister who is due at the end of May. She's giving birth to a baby boy! It turned out to be a great day despite being partly cloudy. The sun decided to come out every so often and when it did the weather was perfect!

Lovely Saturday

Yesterday was such a beautiful day! I love the hot weather. So in the morning we took Taylor to the park. She absolutely loved watching the ducks in the pond and trying to feed them sticks and leaves. She's so silly.

Finished!

The order is complete and being mailed out tomorrow. I actually finished it yesterday. It only took me 1.5 weeks to complete such a large order! Whoo-hoo! This is fun!

sew much to sew

here's what i've been up to for 1.5 weeks now

so i only need to make 4 more lounge pants, 4 more nursing covers and insert the elastic into 12 skirts. i'll be done by the end of the week. not bad for someone who had the flu all last week. i'm waay ahead of schedule. i gave a 3.5 week timeline. i'll be done in 2. i'ld like to be done now. hehe.

I almost forgot I won

I almost forgot. I entered a drawing for a prize on the Mushroom Meadows blog and i was the winner for one of her many drawings! I almost forgot all about entering until the prize package came in the mail. Her things are sooo adorable! I don't even want to open it or use it! It looks tooo cute to waste!

Tres Chic Baby

Tres Chic Baby is a new online shop of things for baby. This is going to be another new home for Sweet November. They will be featuring my onesies with applique and matching burp rags collection and a few of diaper clutches for now! How exciting!!! Tumbling Tots

Today was our first day of Tumbling Tots class. It actually started last week but I was sick with the flu anyways so it wouldn't have been wise if I went. Taylor had sooo much fun. She loves these type of classes that have all the mats and fun things to jump on and play with. Maybe I'll actually put her in a gymnastics class in an studio since this class is through the city through a gymnastics place. Here's is Miss Little, happy, go-lucky hard at play!

charmin ultrasoft

this morning we were making our weekly trip to target. taylor was sitting in her stroller and she mumbled something as we passed the toilet paper. i thought she said something like "look its super soft." i kept agreeing with her even though i had no clue what she said. then i looked to see what exactly she was looking at and low and behold it had read charmin ultra soft. and as taylor mumbled her words again, i carefully listened and she was in fact saying, "look it's charmin ultra soft!"now it was clear to me what she was saying. she's sooo silly. i think she must remember seeing the commericial for it with the bears wiping their bottoms with it. it's cute how kids pick up on cute things. haha.

all better

so after a full week of having the flu i am all better now! finally! it's soo hard being so sick and being a stay-at-home mom! i thank God i'm better! thanks for all your prayers. now it's back to sewing and fulfilling that wholesale order. if you look at my online shop i've been slowly adding everything on there that is from my wholesale order. i've even had some sales while i'm sick. yay! it's back to work!
