but my good friend Boboy (Chris) who i've known since high school (or maybe even before) and his wife Iya did and today my sis and i and all the kids went to go meet them!

today the Lord has blessed our marriage with yet another year!' thank you Lord for sending me a hubby like Jino!
we started our anniversary on saturday by heading out to the beach to hang out and watch papa surf then eating out at our favorite restaurant taco surf (and while the newly married visscher's joined us). there goes papa...
then on sunday our actual anniversary we headed to the desert to do some shopping then later that evening grandma came to watch the girls so that we could go out on a lil date to shop some more in old town pasadena just before heading to make our dinner reservations at Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Restaurant. the food there was soooo delish!!! and when you make reservations there for a special ocassion they immediately greeted us for our anniversary and our menus had our name on it and our table had a lil decor. the food was spectacular!!! and just when dinner's about t done then give you a complimentary dessert and snap your phot which you get to take home!

tay: the girls are growing up! hehe. i can't believe taylor is 4. she's definitely not a baby or a toddler...she really is a big kid. too big for her own good. she's a lil sassy one but we all do love her. she's a big help to us and a good big sister. my favorite is when she gets herself cheese in the fridge and makes sure to get her sister one. she's still dancing and they have their big show at the end of june. she keeps saying she wants to play real soccer but i'm not soo sure she really wants to. i'd love to put her (and peyton) in gymnastics. and she really wants piano lessons. hehe. and in sept. she'll be in an actual pre-k class, 3 days a week.
pey: and peyton. i love watching her grow. she's learning to say a lot more things. i love when she copies what we say. she's trying to hard to say and sing her abc's. she pretty much gets the first 3 letters and that's about it. and this girl is something else. she climbs anything and everything- stairs, chairs, counters, tables and she'll swing from open drawers and at the park she'll go down big kid slides no matter how high like it's nothing!!! she has no fear. and she plays like a boy-in the mud and sand just like her cousin bear.
see what i mean? i had the drawer open and she immediately runs over so she can hang from it and swing
me: so i'll be 12 weeks on monday. hopefully all the nausea goes away by then...although it has been subsiding! and good news, my b.p. is under control-praise God! and i do hope and pray that by the time i have to take that glucose test-it'll come out good and i won't end up with gestational diabetes again. i shouldn't. i don't craves sweets. the only sweets i craves are mangoes, papayas and white nectarines! yum! i've been nesting away like crazy...or maybe i'm not even nesting-i'm just always cleaning. haha. i'm tired a lot this pregnancy and i can barely run a mile. yup, i still try to "run" if that's what you wanna call it. hehehe. it's barely 15 min and 2x a week.
jino: he's an awesome hubby. he works hard for us and looong hours. i truly appreciate it. i love and cherish the times too when he's actually home before 6. he's i guess getting the hang of his new job/title. it's very demanding. but this company's got great potential for the future. he's been doing lotsa yard work and fixin around the house which i am soo thankful for-hehe. there's a long list of things to do around the house that will be neverending. he knows i'd like the rest of the inside of the house painted for mother's day (hehe). and of course he got a fabulous deal on these new powerblock weights and will be ready for summer while i just gain all kinds of pregnancy weight-oy! can't wait for those surf/beach summers!

which is way better than chuck-e-cheese and soo much bigger! the food actually tastes good-there's all kinds of pizzas to chose from, a huge salad bar, coffee bar, even wine bar and desert bar. there were sooo many games to play-carnival type rides and even , glow in the dark bowling and mini-golf and bumper cars!
ava, tay, sophia and ava's brother-adam more carnival rides and peyton had fun too!
