i finally figured out how to make a smocked dress thanks to heather ross!

so this morning i set out to make the girls some smocked dresses.
i had fabric for peyton and i took taylor to joanne's to pick out her own fabric. she wanted something with purple cause it's her favorite color so i gave her some options!

and here's taylors-she specifically asked for a "big" girl dress in which she meant she didn't want any straps!

aw they are so cute! how funny that taylor wants to go strapless! does she realize it may not stay up for her at her age? i say that because i know from personal experience! even now! ha!
