went out to dinner with our dearest friends/family the Maese's and Mason's and ate at Joey's BBQ. it's been voted the best bbq!!! it's family owned and operated. been around for 25 years...serving up texas style bbq! it was super yummy and even better than Lucille's!!! the ambiance was great...super homey , small, quaint. the company even better!!!
looks like a house/barn (haha)
they smoke and cook their bbq right outside!
they have these little things in the middle of your table where u raise the flag for service

noah, sarah and taylor had fun "raising the flag."
the super delicious menu...
we opted for the family feast and the kids got their own meals.
and they use platters as serving trays and your plate
the beans
the potato salad
the bbq...baby back ribs and chicken (well, what's left of it since i didn't get a before pic-haha-and lukey's spoon)
and we also had some yummy garlic toast and corn on the cob which i failed to take a picture..
and the guy at the table behind us volunteered himself out of the blue to take our picture cause he said it was one worth remembering...i think it's cause there was a lot of us and we were loud...or lukey was loud-he screamed a lot-haha...and poor tay onlye the very top of her head by jino made it! =(
nonetheless, it was a great friday night out with some of our favorite people!!!
