our friends joe (the worship leader at our church) & abby are having their 1st baby and it's a girl!
today was their baby shower.
my sister and i made them a gift...
a nursing cover and coordinating burp rags
you can't tell cause the picture doesn't do justice but joe's sister did a great job at decorating!

since there are many "firsts" with babies...they are playing a "firsts" game with bible trivia
everyone had to make any item that would be in a nursery out of playdough...each plate had a number on the bottom that we didn't know about...then all the plates with the same #were grouped together and the group that looked most like a complete nursery won! and guess whose group one?! mine! haha!!! it's group #4 on the far right of the pic below...with the green rocking horse, purple diaper, orange crib, and hahaha-my yellow bumbo!!!!
not sure if u can see but everyone is holding onto a plastic egg. it was our baby. we had to make sure we were taking care of it or it got taken away. the person with the most at the end of the shower wins!
peyton was gnawing on a celery stick
this was a cute game too-where a poem was read and a box was passed around depending on who the poem directed it be given to then that person had to pull out a sucker and if the sucker had a blue dot on it you win a prize
